Dale & Alexandra Armstrong both moved to Hornby island as children, met as teenagers, married as adults and now have both a professional and personal partnership.
Opening Hornby Island Coffee Roasting in 2004, They started roasting organic coffee and selling it locally. Eventually they purchased Lix Ice Cream & Espresso in late 2005 and also embarked on retailing coffee by the cup!
